Jean Ouellette

Chief Software Architect & VP, R& D and Product Management Executive Adlib

Jean is one of the founders of Adlib Software and the Chief Software Architect and VP, Research and Development responsible for the company's technical product strategy and architecture.  Jean is also the VP, Product Management responsible for the company's product direction and roadmaps to ensure the Adlib products continue to provide significant business value in automating content and document workflows. He has a keen interest in technology and stays abreast of emerging market and IT trends and their impact on enterprises, conveying his thought leadership through regular blogging. Jean brings more than 30 years of technical and leadership experience in software engineering and development including over 15 years at Bailey controls (currently owned by ABB). Jean holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and a Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Toronto. He is married with two children and enjoys cycling and skiing with his family and friends.

IBM’s unified platform for enterprise content management (ECM) – called  FileNet P8 Platform – is used by a large insurance company which recently purchased additional Adlib content-to-PDF transformation software to support their growing volume of documents they render to PDF for their insurance claims processing.
