Put away those pens, get rid of that binder, recycle your notebook – today is World Paper Free Day!
The Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) spearheads this annual initiative to encourage people and business to go paper free for one day. Why? In their research, they have found that less paper in our document-centric processes means huge benefits in efficiency, collaboration, and well-being.
That sounds like music to my ears! You know I have always preached about the benefits of going paperless – I’m just glad there is a whole day dedicated to it now!
How can you participate?
It’s pretty easy.
Step 1: Take the Pledge
Step 2: Download the Badge
Step 3: Spread the Word
You can see our badge below in the blog post. And I will make a personal guarantee that I will not use any paper today – and will scold anyone I see who does!
And, if you’re looking for more ways you can go paperless, for beyond this one day, I suggest this on-demand webinar, highlighting how you can implement paperless processes in your enterprise without falling into the gaps.
