European SharePoint Conference #ESPC14: Fun, sun and SharePoint
Some business events just make sense. Since we have a very developed and defined partner ecosystem, we get invited to multiple events every year. It is an amusing exercise of choosing which one to attend and which to bypass. So far we have always attended the SharePoint conferences in North America as well as Europe. These events allow us to get in touch with our customers, and hear their stories and challenges. At the same time, we connect with the rest of the SharePoint partner ecosystem and collaborate on how we can collectively enhance our mutual customers’ experience using SharePoint.
Both SharePoint conferences are different – not just from partner attendance but also because of the end customer attendance and cultural nuances between the two continents. As such, it is somewhat imperative to attend both.
Team Adlib will be at European SharePoint Conference from May 5th-8th. We’ll be at booth 49, ready to discuss Advanced Rendering within SharePoint.
Our PDF Experts will demo the Adlib PDF technology and how it integrates with SharePoint to improve document-to-PDF transformation processes by delivering:
- Automated document conversion, rendering and publishing
- Enhanced search capabilities with OCR technology
- High-fidelity, submission-ready compliant PDF’s that meet corporate and regulatory standards
- Enterprise-level massive scalability to support growing rendition and business needs
Many SharePoint users don’t always use it as a full Enterprise Content Management system, rather as a collaboration tool. The good news is that there are many options to get way more out of your SharePoint deployment. This is what our experts will be ready to discuss with you at the show.
We recently posted on the European SharePoint blog about an exclusive on-demand webinar and white paper, detailing how Advanced Rendering can truly enhance SharePoint and help organizations to fully leverage their investment. Be sure to check them out for more details.
Increasing end-user productivity
Now why would you think of taking your SharePoint to the next level? There are some very obvious reasons: reducing the costs of deploying a new technology or enhancing end-user productivity through better collaboration to name a few. However, the lesser-known benefit is better quality of collaboration through converting all document formats to a standard format such as PDF. While the PDF may seem like a stale technology to some, when incorporated into document workflows and Enterprise Content Management systems – including SharePoint – it can be a powerful tool designed to increase productivity for knowledge workers and end users in a range of industries, business groups and departments. The efficiency is further enhanced by that fact that Adlib PDF integrates with SharePoint. It can also integrate with K2 and Nintex for workflow automation, improving the full lifecycle of a document.
