Check out these pics of Team Adlib as they ride to conquer cancer

This weekend the fearless riders of Team Adlib set out to ride 200km from Toronto to Niagara Falls as part of Enbridge’s Ride to Conquer Cancer. The team this year raised $38,271.08, with the money benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret Hospital, one of the top 5 cancer research centers in the world. The hospital has assembled a team of top doctors and scientists whose search for new discoveries and improved patient outcomes will have a real impact in our community, across Canada, and around the world.

So why did we ride? The answer is easy.

  • 18,585 new cancer patients were treated at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in 2010/11
  • 64% of cancer patients survive their disease for 5 years or more
  • There are almost 1 million cancer survivors in Canada leading quality lives

We’re thrilled and humbled to be a part of this event which raised $20 million for cancer research and patient care.

We had some fun along the way too! In addition to the ride, we held bake sales, 50/50 draws, pancake breakfasts and a silent auction to help our riders reach their donation goals.

It was a beautiful weekend, and a great cause! Check out a few pics from the ride here.
