Adlib hosted an event at the Microsoft Technical Center in New York recently. The round table gathering was for IT Directors, Project Managers, and Compliance Managers in Life Sciences and Financial Services organizations, who are interested in automating document management in SharePoint to save people-hours and money.
The size of the group made for an interactive discussion. We started with lunch, followed by a Microsoft presentation given by Chris Lavista on using SharePoint for collaboration and document management. Chris covered both SP 2010 and 2013.
Then Adlib Central Territory Sales Manager Alison Estrop presented how current Adlib customers are using Adlib with SharePoint to automate document management processes, and leverage metadata and workflows to drive efficiencies in the automation process.
Adlib Sales Engineer Kyle Walsh demonstrated how Adlib assists with regulatory compliance, using Adlib PDF Enterprise with the SharePoint Connector. He also showcased the Adlib PDF Publisher cloud-based application, which was built specifically for the Marketplace preview for SharePoint 2013.
At the end of the event we drew one of the event evaluation forms to give away a Microsoft Touch mouse. Jacqueline Prekelezaj from First Reserve was the lucky recipient.
