I’m excited about speaking at the Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA) annual conference next month, held in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. NIRMA 2011 Conference happens August 14 – 17, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I will be speaking on Tuesday, August 16 along with Tim Fleet, of Sword CTSpace (one of Adlib’s partners) in a session titled “Tips and Techniques for Automating the PDF Rendition Process.” Adlib has much experience working with customers in the energy sector, so I can’t wait to share our accumulated knowledge with the attendees of NIRMA.
Today’s nuclear organizations, challenged with increased content management demands, need to find efficient ways to capture, manage, preserve and share content, all the while maintaining compliance with regulations. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems help with these challenges, but they don’t always provide the necessary content transformation capabilities needed to enable efficient automation of document-centric business processes.
Our presentation at NIRMA will cover useful tips and techniques for providing this automation and removing time-consuming, error-prone and costly manual processes as a result. (And, at the very least, it’s Vegas – so NIRMA 2011 is sure to be a hit!)
