Adlib Express integrates with Pilgrim’s web-based SmartSolve platform so that business users can automate the intake of paper forms and documents from scanners and fax machines. The documents are loaded directly into Pilgrim’s solution, with the correct data captured into a SmartSolve record, “providing our customers increased process efficiency through further compliance automation,” says Pilgrim’s CTO Atulya Risal.
Some of the business process efficiencies the Adlib/Pilgrim partnership bring to customers in the life sciences industry include:
- Increasing the cycle time of processing time-sensitive records – with automatic form intake for patient device records, complaint/adverse event records, and e-document management
- Eliminating data entry through optical character recognition (OCR) PDF conversion – scanning paper documents and transforming them into editable and searchable PDFs
- Improving the overall compliance to HIPAA and IT security
