Adlib expands team and raises the stakes for Ride to Conquer Cancer

Company-wide effort supports riders in upcoming event

June 4, 2015 - Toronto, Canada (Source: PRWeb) With a record number of riders comprising 20% of the company, and breaking fundraising barriers once again, Burlington, Ontario software vendor, Adlib, is gearing up for its third annual Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer entry. The annual event, which begins in Toronto on June 13, and spans two days, is a 200km ride throughout beautiful southern Ontario. Proceeds from the event support the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre with the goal to “conquer cancer in our lifetime.”

Peter Duff, Adlib’s CEO and one of the riders on the team, says, “the Adlib team has always believed that anything is possible – whether it be in the realm of business innovation or community leadership. We have the largest team of riders we have ever had for this event and we are committed to achieving higher goals than we ever have before both in the race and in our fundraising efforts.”

With over $50,000 raised to date this year, Adlib has built on its successful fundraising program in support of the Ride to Conquer Cancer, exceeding current and previous years’ targets. The riders are training diligently as a team regularly to ensure a safe and successful event, while the entire Adlib community is supporting these efforts with fundraising support. For those who know Adlib, this comes as no surprise. Since its inception, Adlib has had a culture of teamwork and community outreach, which are key factors in the company being named one of the top employers in various categories over the past few years.
