Pilgrim Software Names Adlib as Document Transformation Partner

Through this partnership, Pilgrim and Adlib will enable life sciences customers to improve processing cycle time with automatic form intake for patient device records, complaint/adverse event records, and electronic document management by eliminating data entry through optical character recognition OCR PDF conversion - scanning paper documents and transforming them into editable and searchable PDFs.

Integrating Adlib's recognition and transformation capabilities with Pilgrim's Complaints Management, Document Management and Patient Device Records (PDR) solutions will support the efficiencies and effectiveness of enterprise quality, compliance and risk management initiatives. These joint technologies will increase the speed of overall processing of "time-sensitive" records, improve overall workforce efficiency and performance for entering and maintaining records, reduce errors in data duplication and improve the overall compliance to HIPAA and IT security.

In addition to its proven solutions for complaints management and document control, Pilgrim provides an integrated solution for Patient Device Registry (PDR) management to accurately manage the lifecycle of patient device tracking. Pilgrim's PDR provides an integrated view of a medical device manufacturer's patient device data throughout the lifetime of the device - from intake to follow-ups to quality audits to patient relationships and by integration to key compliance and quality business systems such as Complaint Handling, Corrective Action (CAPA), CRM and ERP.
