Fully Automated Server-Based Publishing
Repurposing documents can often mean hours of manual intervention. Whether you are adding a corporate logo to each page, adding footers and headers or placing a watermark on each page, the time it takes to manually transform a document can be astonishing. Multiply this by hundreds if not thousands of times and you will start to get a clearer picture of the cost of manual manipulation.
Now imagine a workflow process where documents are automatically brought in one end, transformed automatically based on predefined criteria and automatically published on the other end in a matter of seconds. How much would that be worth to you? How much time would you save? What would be your opportunity cost?
It's Flexible
All of the features of ExpressPublishing Server can be preconfigured (or configured on the fly by using Relay, our browser-based User Interface), to suit all your needs. Establish rules based on projects, user profile or corporate governance.
Set stamping features to be applied to every page, page ranges, every other page, or specific pages. Specify exact or relative position on the page or have ExpressPublishing Server automatically apply stamps based on selective criteria such as changing page sizes and dimensions, landscape or portrait.
Adlib ExpressPublishing Server similarly handles document assembly by taking specific instructions or by applying logical rules, which are then interpreted by the server to force page splitting and insert tabs and slipsheets and adjust Tables of Contents, Bookmarks, Hyperlinks and Indexes accordingly.
Users can also assemble multiple documents and merge to PDF for higher compatibility.
It is Scalable
Additional ExpressPublishing Servers can be quickly and easily added to the network as publishing demands dictate. The core engine is fitted with a load balancing manager that automatically routes jobs to take advantage of additional processing power. This same feature ensures that jobs get completed by monitoring jobs on various servers and rerouting jobs that do not get completed if something happens to that server such as a power failure or hardware problems.
It is Easy to Integrate
Adlib ExpressPublishing Server easily integrates with business applications and document workflows. Using open XML messaging standards combined with a Web Service Interface, ExpressPublishing Server easily integrates with business applications regardless of the platform.

"Adlib's OCR server technology has maximized the use of electronic communication and reduces the use of paper as we can now scan paper documents and convert those resulting TIFF images to text."
