Software Maintenance Support

Renewing your Software Maintenance Plan (SMP) is one of the most cost-effective ways to protect your software investment.  It saves you time, it saves you money, and it ensures your uninterrupted access to vital technical support, product upgrades and discounts on Adlib Services.

SMP renewal notifications are normally sent by email approximately sixty (60) days prior to your expiry date to allow sufficient time for processing and avoid any interruption in service.  Be sure to keep us updated with new contact information if you have staff changes during the year, specifically as to who should be receiving these SMP renewal notifications.  If you allow your Software Maintenance coverage to expire you have the opportunity to reinstate coverage although your renewal rate is pro-rated to take into account the value of the Server you are upgrading.

Any questions regarding your SMP renewal date or how to reinstate an expired one, please contact Joy Bowes at jbowes@adlibsoftware.com or by calling +1.905.631.2875 ext. 224.

Service Maintenance Plan (SMP) 2.0

Let’s put this right on the table–at Adlib, we’re clear that the only definition of exemplary service is our Customer’s definition.  The knowledge of that simple equation is as freeing as it is a responsibility.

With ROI measuring in months if not weeks for most of Adlib customers, the story is short and sweet – farther, faster, at far less cost.  Think of it in the following way – a potent combination of document conversion, publishing and OCR applications, delivered as a modern, scalable, server-based solution, that can stand alone or integrate seamlessly with existing business applications that drives the productivity of an enterprise’s business and increases the effectiveness of its people all at the lowest cost of ownership.

We hear very often from our customers that this statement resonates with them because Adlib is so reliable it’s sometime easy to come to the conclusion that one doesn’t require a Service Maintenance Plan (SMP).  We have been using this maintenance model for a while now and from our customer’s experience we hear that most have continuously benefited from the overall plan.  However, over the next couple of months Adlib will be collecting information from our customers on SMP to help us determine what if any changes need to be made to our existing model to accommodate those customers who perhaps require customized support.

Similar to what we did with simplifying our product offering and adding more value with our products the mandate is to offer a flexible, organized solution that serves our customers and fits in their budget. We have created a very short online survey that you can complete at your leisure.  The information will be used to help us formulate new SMP features, determine the best means of interaction with our customers and help us to expand our service based on your answers. Please click on the link provided and you will be directed to the survey, http://www.adlibsoftware.com/smp_survey.aspx

If you would like to provide Adlib with further feedback on your current SMP, please contact
