In late 2007, Adlib announced the release of Express Server 4.0. This release marks a paradigm shift in the Adlib Express Server product line. In addition to the increase in core functionality, which is normally associated with new releases, Express 4.0 represents a complete change in how Adlib Software packages its products. Historically, Adlib Software products were offered as a core transformation engine with an impressive list of add-on modules. Customers had the option of "building" their own customized solution. A change in customer and market demands has led to a new suite of prebuilt document management solutions - making it easier to take advantage of the benefits offered by Adlib Software products.
