The Power of SharePoint in Government

Posted on: Friday, June 3, 2011 by Riley OBrien Wolff

We are pleased to be a part of a Government sector-focused educational seminar series happening in both the US and Canada next month. Microsoft and some of its partners – including us, K2, CapriVi and other companies – are holding free workshops focused on advanced records management and automation in SharePoint.

We will be demonstrating how Microsoft SharePoint can assist you with your DOD 5015.2 compliance strategy. The details are as follows:

Experience product demonstrations, in-depth presentations on SharePoint, and how you can extend its capabilities beyond a typical out-of-the-box deployment and create real value for your organization.

At the Ottawa event – being held near Parliament Hill, the seat of the federal government of Canada – the focus will be more generally on Process Automation with SharePoint: Efficiency in Government. The free luncheon will include an exploration by companies such as Adlib, K2 and CapriVi of the complex process of on-boarding employees by leveraging SharePoint and complementary technologies.

Seating for the event is first come-first serve, so please arrive early; lunch will be provided, too.

We hope to see you at one of these government education events!
