The power of social media was once again driven home for us at Adlib (and we are enthusiastic participants ourselves on LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and Twitter) when I came across a post this week by a business person on the LinkedIn Group, SharePoint 2007 and 2010.
We are proud to be included in the just-released publication put out by
AIIM, the leading ECM association, titled “
Digital Long-Term Preservation of Electronic Documents PDF/A Products Guide.”
The PDF archive (PDF/A) standard is being rapidly adopted for digital archiving, steered in part by the international
PDF/A Competence Center, of which we are a member.
The modern approach to archiving is to put valuable information into PDF/A format. Adlib has recently become a member of the PDF/A Competence Center, but we are no Johnny-come-lately to PDF/A. Adlib products have been turning out PDF/A compliant results for years.
